Is this really fame?
That’s got this hold
Light up the rich
Light up the kids
Wrath
Without a goal
Stopping your heart
Right from the start
Promise
Sorrow
Tear it from my head
Future
Burning
Tears me from my bed
I fall down
But I can taste
The death of the wrong
Or of this song
Walk on by
The twisted lie
Loved out loud
Burned this town
What’s my place?
I have changed
Turns out the heroes are part of the game
Flowers
Blooming
Springtime is turning, but I stay the same
Swim
So far
Far from the river’s edge
I’ve become that twisted lie
That graciously tears us apart
All rattled from the cages of death’s decay
On full display
I sin, I sin
And it spills on my down my chin
I sin, I sin
And I wipe it away and start all over again
I fall down
But I can taste
The death of the wrong
Or of this song
Walk on by
The twisted lie
Loved out loud
Burned this town
What’s my place?
I have changed
Turns out the heroes are part of the game
Flowers
Blooming
Springtime turns, but I stay the same
Swim
So far
Far from the river’s edge
I’ve become that twisted lie
So baby let’s do the twist.
This entire album rips. I've had this on repeated play several times since it came out. I wish I had heard it a week earlier when they played in Boston. One of my fav albums in this genre period. slimes
Sludge, Shoegaze, Atmospheric, Heavy Metal, Alt-metal, you name it. This album has it all, and it is perfect. It came out during a rough time period of my life and others lives too. It's been the soundtrack for all of my pain. Thank you Hum tawper
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
Had the pleasure of seeing BB first show in RI at Simmons' Farm. Fun seeing the old punks and the new punks enjoying hardcore at its best! Absolute rippers. Can't wait for more! K
